WHO ARE THE AEROSPACE CAPABILITY PROJECT?

Our core team is a small group of diverse individuals, all of whom have a wealth of experience and knowledge attained from long careers in the industry. Our extended specialist project team members are all handpicked for their knowledge, experience and a strong underlying passion for what they do.

John leads development activities for the Aerospace Capability Project. He is responsible for sourcing new opportunities for the business as well as overseeing its partnerships, key client relationships and the business growth strategy.

John has held senior leadership positions in a number of aerospace power system companies including Rolls-Royce and their joint venture companies around the world.

Steve ensures project delivery and operational performance are optimised for clients and partners of the Aerospace Capability Project.

Steve has a wealth of experience as a business leader in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality and business improvement. He has a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Brunel University in the UK and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Suzanne Hill
Suzanne HillAssociate
Suzanne supports Aerospace Capability Project assignments utilising her considerable experience of leading Quality and Business Improvement activities within manufacturing, assembly and physical logistics plants.

Suzanne is an Associate Lecturer in Advanced Quality Techniques at the University of Warwick (WMG), an AS9100 Lead Auditor, on the Membership Council at the Chartered Quality Institute and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Mark Miller

Mark provides advisory and audit support to for ISO9001, ISO14001, Biofuel Trading, GHG accounting programmes, Information Governance (security and data management), and various learning and management support assignments.

Presently working with ACP and on assignments for CORSIA, aviation emissions scheme, Regulatory training programme for GHG emissions in North America, assurance of sustainable fuels, training and capability building, Management Systems advisory.

COMPLETED PROJECTS INCLUDE:

  • Specialist advisory and consultancy services to a major Global Consultancy Group in support of MRO contract and service proposals for Private Equity and Airline Client
  • Remote site Shop Visit Management and Technical Support to Aircraft Leasing companies using innovative solutions to assure engine asset transition through the pandemic
  • Shop visit management, including on-site technical representation for a 55+ V2500 engine MRO program caried out at a European engine facility, completed over a 24-month period
  • Retained and active in delivering specialist MRO Consultancy and Advisory services to a major North American LCC airline operating with a fleet of 260+ aircraft
  • Airline business partner acting as technical and commercial ‘loss assessor’ for a series of complex engine failure investigations and formal insurance policy claims
  • Conducted an in-depth Supply Chain Risk Assurance Assessment on behalf major US airline covering its Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) supply and off-take agreements
  • Advisory to US airline senior leadership team with development of its long-term engine fleet MRO strategy
  • Assisting Airline Leadership team in MRO supply chain analysis, service provider selection and participating in formal contract negotiations with the Service Providers
  • Conducting a formal independent Operational Risk Assessment of a North American engine OEM MRO service provider, on behalf of an airline and its prospective business partners
  • Provided Asset and MRO shop visit management support of industrial gas turbine power plant units in operation for a Danish energy company; plus technical and life enhancement advice
  • Delivered an independent MRO capability assessment of an airline in-house technical MRO organization on behalf of the engine OEM and Airline owner
